Popular Energy, a leading power generation company in Pakistan, was established under the Popular Group after acquiring the Wartsila-commissioned plant in 2017. The plant was fully restored and overhauled to meet modern efficiency and sustainability standards. Its engines and auxiliary units were upgraded to align with the latest coal, solar, and wind power generation systems. A new energy production line has also been added to enhance total output, ensuring consistent and reliable energy supply across Pakistan.
